Petrochemicals Complex
A major risk evaluation project was carried out in Monterrey and Tampico
in Mexico for Underwriters on a leading group of companies, which produce
automotive parts, cabling, petrochemicals, and many other products. This
review was carried out end of 1997 and involved three sites, one manufacturing
transformers, one power and magnet cabling and the third PVC Resin, Phthalic
Anhydride, Plastisicers and PVC Compounds for use in the group.
Philippines Refinery
An insurance review for International Insurers of a main refinery and
oil terminal in the Philippines.
Polish Refinery
A risk engineering survey and valuation was carried out of the Czechowice
Refinery in November 1998.

Portugal Gas Facilities
A survey was conducted on various properties. This review included major
onshore sites connected to several gas fields. Various cases were evaluated
for potential loss scenarios to re-evaluate the insurance programme.
PTT Gas and Oil Facilities
A business interruption study was undertaken on the Gas Production Systems
in Thailand during March 1998. This review included major onshore sites
connected to offshore gas fields. Various cases were evaluated for potential
loss scenarios to re-evaluate the insurance programme.
Qatar LNG Project
Risk Engineering Survey of both the Offshore Platforms and Onshore LNG
Trains for a Tender held by the Owner/Operator. This project is at present
under construction completion and involves the production of up to 5 million
Tonnes per Annum of Liquefied Natural Gases for export to Asia/Far East.
The surveys were completed mid-1999. The sites was re-surveyed in 2002,
in conjunction with a separate facility for a joint insurance programme.
Qatar Petroleum
Risk Engineering Reviews of both the Offshore Platforms and Onshore Fields,
Ras Laffan Port and City, LNG plants, Mesaieed Crude and Condensate Refinery
and Halul Island Storage for a Tender held by the Owner/Operator. The
surveys were completed end of 2001.
Romanian Oil Refinery
An insurance inspection was carried out at the main oil refinery in Romania
which was recently purchased by an oil company from the FSU.

An insurance inspection was carried out at two refineries in Romania owned
by Rompetrol and a third site (Oltchim) for petrochemicals.

plants in Turkey. This was carried out in 1994/5 and repeated in 2001,
2002 and 2003. The project included rationalisation of the recommendations
made during a 10 year period.
